I am currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Private Practice at Panorama Medi-Clinic. I do mainly revision and primary hip arthroplasty including resurfacing arthroplasty. I also do primary and revision knee replacements. I do many anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions and therapeutic knee and hip arthroscopy.

I have helped a number of Orthopaedic Surgeons with hip resurfacing, complex primary replacements and hip revision cases; at my institution, Groote Schuur Hospital and other hospitals country wide. The Smith and Nephew arthroplasty fellow attends my theatre regularly.

I work as visiting locum Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Hospital Haslar, Portsmouth NHS Trust, England once a year.

I have completed the Clinical Research Fellowship in Advanced Hip Surgery for Mr G Bannister, Prof I Learmonth and Mr E Smith at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre, Southmead Hospital, Bristol, England. I did many primary hip replacements, revisions of total hip replacements and hip resurfacing. I also supervised and taught registrars.

I completed one year as a clinical fellow (specialist registrar level) to Mr J Eldridge and Mr A Weale at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Avon Orthopaedic Centre. I performed total hip and knee replacements, ACL reconstructions, patellofemoral surgery, unicompartmental knee replacements and trochleoplasties.

I have a special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty. I aim to build my practice in these disciplines especially in revision hip surgery.
